Formby Festival aims to recreate the stunning Formby Shows of earlier years. It is a regular part of the summer calendar on the third weekend in July each year.
Sunday. Carnival Day.
11am – 6pm.
Saturday. Show Day.
11am – 11pm.
Firework Display. Saturday.
10.30pm. A musical lights and firework display, themed for all the family.
This is the biggest display of the year in the area, and one that should not be missed.
Friday.
6pm – 10pm.
Craft Market:
Crafts from jewellery to wood-carving.
Food from artisan bakers to cheesemakers.
Previous years at Formby Festival have featured dozens of varied artisans involving cakes, furniture, bee-keeping, exotic gifts and much more.
Family Entertainment
Pre-school, primary school or high school, we have activities for everybody.
Past years have included inflatables, archery, paint balling, assault course, and climbing wall.
Music
Our stage hosts a wide range of performers across the weekend, from soloist to choir, brass band to rock band, child to seasoned musician.
